South African Celebrity naturals...

Favourite celeb naturals

Here is a little more inspiration for those of you out there that aren't yet part of the official natural trend. Since last year that 'Natural Look' has become a sudden trend for more celebrities here in South Africa and most ,non surprisingly, have been through that relaxed/chemical phase but are now 100% natural... Somebody say #Back2myroots.

These are just a few of the local celebrities that I so much adore*:

First and foremost, the resilient one of all Pearl Thusi.

We've seen this beautiful Mama in her natural essence and can't help but admire them curls.
Pearl is popularly known for her modeling career, signed to the model agency Models International, who also has been a great TV presenter on shows like Top billing,Club808 and also a radio host on Metro FM. An interview on Glamour magazine, Pearl gives us tips on how she keeps her hair on point, from styling tips to washing tips and even balance. Pearl's her is even bigger and better. #SaluteAfroSister

Next up is the elegant, Lira.

Lira jut can't be defined as anything else but natural. She has taken a real stand in embracing her true African beauty with her forever classic TWA hairstyle that has fast become her trade mark. Lira is a soul jazz singer, releasing single after single and album after album, well the woman is good at what she does and she's loved for it. And of course we love that hair girl! Lira has being through the relaxed stage of her life and is never going back, #SaluteAfroSister, speaking about it in an interview all about her natural hair journey.

The very cultured cultivating, Mmabatho Montsho.

Does she not have the face to represent a nation, African nation?! The natural roots of the ever talented actress(Generations, Rhythm City) and film director are very intriguing due to her very humbling personality which is consistently portrayed in her characters that she plays. As for Mmabatho's 'Fro seems to be growing very healthy and she is never afraid to wear it out and post pictures of it on instagram, even on set where she sometimes has it in cornrows. Be not afraid to work it. #SaluteAfroSister

One of the most inspiring black women among the rest, Lebo Mashile.

Lebo is a very poetic soul from this African country and known for her great wisdom through heart, soulful words. Most of her poems are about being a natural and bare African woman and the true beauty in it that well have suddenly failed to see. She is all natural, in her short but spectacular afro, and remains in spite of society measures. She is a true inspiration to many naturals and African woman. #SaluteAfroSister

Last but not the least, Phumeza Mbade.

In the very beginning, Phumeza has been a great inspiration due to the fact that she has been natural ever since I can remember. Her curly locs have been constantly in the eyes of the public as she has started out in her career as a model at a very young age and has also journeyed into music and dance. She is well known for hosting the TV show, My Perfect Wedding where we see her hair in the most dazzling styles ever. Phumeza's hair has grown to be a truly vibrant, and long Afro. I for one really adore her gorgeous hair. #SaluteAfroSister
